Last week, Korean Posco P&S purchased Japanese Shindachi scraps and P&S scraps with prices of ￥35,500/ton C&F and ￥35,000/ton C&F respectively.
It's learned that Posco P&S ask Japanese suppliers to cut scrap prices since the Japanese scrap export prices have remained weak.
Meanwhile, the base prices of Shindachi scraps and P&S scraps were at ￥33,500/ton in the Japanese Tokyo Bay region on June 13rd.
